Editor's Letter: June 2024From the Desk of Sterling P. Jones Dear Reader, Happy Summer! I hope you are having a fabulous start to your summer. It has introduced me to some amazing experiences across New York City. Plus, I am happy to share my experiences with you. In this letter, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of you for being on my email list, especially the women who have joined the 31 Days of Beauty Course. It has been fun for me to get back into teaching and sharing my experiences with beauty at large. We have two more calls left in the experience, and you can join us!
In other news, I contributed to this fragrance journal on scent culture in its first edition. It is called the Alabastron Journal. In my section, I wrote about my culture and ties to scent as a Black Southern woman. The journal is available for pre-order now and will ship out by July 10. To begin this month, I experienced a new flavor from the non-alcoholic wellness brand, Lily. Surprisingly, it is citrus-blend and bitter compared to their original Blood Orange, which has a sweet flavor. I have a couple of events happening for the rest of this month. One I am excited for is a new fragrance launch with Intitio Parfums Privee. It’s for their Oud for Greatness scent, a strong scent perfect for Father’s Day.
